Wet, miserable weather continued across huge swaths of California on Sunday as an atmospheric river that caused major flooding flowed eastward and makes way for another onslaught of rain and snow that could yet again pummel the beleaguered region as soon as Monday night. Across Monterey County, more than 8,500 people were under evacuation orders and warnings Saturday, including roughly 1,700 residents — many of them Latino farmworkers — from the unincorporated community of Pajaro.

Deliciousness is back for a second season!
Hosted by Tiffani Thiessen , the Ridiculousness spinoff -- in which she and panelists Angela Kinsey, Kel Mitchell and Tim Chantarangsu celebrate the funniest food moments on the internet -- will be back with more episodes. Before the new season drops, Deliciousness returns for another one-week special event on Monday, March 22 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
Ahead of the show's debut in December, Thiessen admitted that she had no choice but to say "yes" to the show. As she told her husband and special ET guest correspondent Brady Smith in a special 1-1, she had a hard time turning down the gig.
"When I got the call about looking into doing this show called Deliciousness , that was a spinoff of one of your favorite shows, Ridiculousness , you said to me, 'You better do this new show or we're getting divorced,'" Thiessen revealed with a laugh.
"I would have never divorced you," quipped Smith, with Thiessen noting, "No, [but] you were like, 'Oh my gosh, babe. You gotta do this show!'"
"And I was like, 'I know this is the show that you love so much.' And then it's basically your favorite show but all food which is so my thing," she added. "So I, of course, had to sign up and it's been one of the best jobs, hands down, that I've had in a very long time."
Thiessen has been a longtime foodie and loves being in the kitchen, cooking for her husband and their two children; daughter Harper and son Holt. Her love of cooking came from when she was a little girl, making meals with her mother.
"I grew up in a family of women who all loved to cook. I was that little girl who wanted to be in the kitchen with my mom and my aunt and my grandmother," she recalled. "All in there having a good time, and when I was old enough, I was invited in to start cooking and now I do all the cooking."
Of course, she herself, has had her own kitchen blunders like in the funny clips viewers see on Deliciousness .
"I've had my fails," she shared. "I've had things that have happened. I've burnt things before, that's normal. I'm not some crazy perfectionist type of person…One time on Dinner at Tiffani 's when the lemon oil had kind of spewed over, I don't know if you were there that day, but I started a fire and I didn't even know it!"
"What I love about Deliciousness , we've got a show that is funny," she noted. "You and I can cuddle up, [have] a little cocktail, laugh our butts off, watch the show."
As she kicked off a new project, she had also wrapped another one. Thiessen reprised her role as Kelly Kapowski on the Saved by the Bell reboot, which premiered in November on Peacock.
"Tracey [Wigfield], who created the show, has done an amazing job. It's funny, it's witty, but it has a ton of heart and the new kids are amazing," she expressed. "They're super, super talented and for me, personally, it was fun to go back and play Kelly and work with Mark-Paul [Gosselaar] and deal with the whole Zack-Kelly thing. It was actually a lot of fun."

Thiessen recalled being 15 years old when the show premiered in 1989. Now, she sees the new generation of actors taking over the series and believes they are at a much better age to handle fame and success than when she started.
"Most of these kids are actually older because back then you actually played your age," she shared. "Nowadays these kids are playing younger than they are, so they probably can handle the pressure of fame probably a lot easier than maybe say we did. Not that we didn't handle it well. I think I had a family that was very structured and very supportive. But it's a lot to take in."
"I think the reaction from the reboot of Saved by the Bell has been good," the actress noted, adding, "I definitely think it takes the nostalgic part of the original and really brings in a fresh, new sense of newness really into the show."

Tiffani Thiessen has found a silver lining amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic — a new job!
While speaking to PEOPLE ahead of the premiere of her latest television venture, MTV's Deliciousness , the 46-year-old actress details how it was "really nice" to return to work on the new series and "do something besides stay at home and cook nine meals a day for my family."
"It's all food-based, which is my jam and it's super funny," Thiessen tells PEOPLE exclusively of the show, which premieres on the network on Monday. "It's probably the most fun and the easiest job that I get to go to, and that I've ever had in my career — truly! It is such a blast."
Deliciousness is a new series from MTV that serves as a food-centered spinoff of their long-running program, Ridiculousness .
Featuring Thiessen as host, the series also stars a trio of panelists alongside the Saved By The Bell and 90210 star, including The Office's Angela Kinsey , Kenan & Kel's Kel Mitchell and Basic to Bougie's Tim Chantarangsu. The group watches and comments on a variety of food-related videos, from "food blunders to restaurant fails to kids in the kitchen and more," according to MTV’s official description.
Asked to describe what videos she is most looking forward to seeing fans react to, the Pull Up a Chair: Recipes from My Family to Yours author says, "It's hard to choose just one."
"I mean, I have a fondness for the children, of course, because it usually comes from such a sweet, innocent place," she says. "Whether it's them trying to swallow something that they just can't stand ... or it's a vegetable that they're trying for the first time and their gag reflex [stops them]."

When she isn't filming, the mother of two has been spending much of quarantine with her two kids, Holt, 5, and Harper, 10, and husband, Brady Smith, at their home in California. The Cooking Channel star is the chef in the house, of course.
"The most requested dish for the kids is either pizza or my chicken enchiladas," she says. "I menu plan, usually on Sundays, and the kids are now very vocal about what they want for the week. And now that I'm having to menu plan, not just dinners, but also breakfast, lunch and five snacks now that they're home, it's a much bigger project."
Because Smith is an artist, he was also able to continue working from home, says Thiessen. "We feel very fortunate and very blessed that we still have been able to work because I know so many people have not been able to," she says.

Looking towards the holidays, Thiessen is expecting a "much more quiet" celebration than in past years.
"Normally we have my grandmother who's 95 and still amazing and my aunt and uncle and my parents. And usually my husband's family will come out or we'll go to Texas, but sadly, that's not going to be able to happen this year," she says. "It's just gonna be us and it's gonna be a lot more quiet. But that's okay. We're trying to take the silver linings when we can see them and as much as we're gonna miss having our extended family and seeing the cousins, we'll relish and it will be an easier holiday and a little bit more quiet."
Deliciousness begins with a holiday-themed week-long affair from Dec. 14 to Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Tiffani Thiessen On MTV's 'Deliciousness': 'It's Mind-Blowing What People Are Doing'
March 22, 2021 / 2:48 PM / CBS Boston
(CBS Local)-- Tiffani Thiessen has been entertaining America since she was a teenager and MTV's "Deliciousness" combines everything she loves to do. Thiessen along with Kel Mitchell, Angela Kinsey and Tim Chantarangsu serve up funny clips featuring everything from food fails to barbeque disasters and comfort food cravings.
Season two of the spinoff of MTV's "Ridiculousness" begins tonight and CBS Local caught up with Thiessen to discuss what this experience has been like for her, why the show works and thriving in Hollywood for decades.
"It's been such a great job. I feel guilty sometimes taking a paycheck because I actually have a lot of fun on this show," said Thiessen, in an interview with CBS Local's DJ Sixsmith. "It's just one of those shows that doesn't feel like work and that's the best. My husband was a huge fan of Ridiculousness, so this is sort of a spinoff of that show. It's all food-based and that's very much up my alley. If people know my past, I'm very much in that food world. It's fun and I stand up there and laugh at some of the stuff that gets put up there on the show."
Thiessen first made a name for herself in Hollywood as Kelly Kapowski in "Saved By The Bell" and has also carved out a niche for herself in the culinary world with a cookbook, a cooking show and now "Deliciousness." Thiessen is blown away by how ridiculous the clips are on the MTV show.
"The food fails I'm more understanding of because it has happened to all of us," said Thiessen. "We have had a dish fall out of our hands or you forgot that something was in the oven and you burnt it. It's some of the other things that I am sometimes shocked by when I see them. That one it's being filmed and two that it's a dare or something. It's mind-blowing sometimes what people are doing. We actually don't watch the videos. I look at my cues and lines and intros, but all of us have done it where we don't like to watch the videos. We want it to be real and for you guys to see the real reaction. It's super fun and it's been a blast. It's been such a dream job."
While Thiessen has been an actor for decades, it's only recently that the public has learned about her passion for cooking. In fact, her love for the culinary world is something that has been in her life for a long time. While Thiessen is excited about the work she's doing now on "Deliciousness," she's proud of the career she's built over several decades.
"I love what I do and I've continued to have a passion to be in it," said Thiessen. "I've also really tried to open my eyes to other things like being able to open myself up in the food world. 30 years ago, that was never really an option. That's been really fun. I feel extremely blessed and fortunate that I've been able to stay in this business as long as I have. I'm no spring chicken, but I do still have that drive."
Watch " Deliciousness " tonight on MTV.

Tiffani Thiessen Reveals Her ‘One Request’ For Rob Dyrdek & Dishes On Hosting ‘Deliciousness’
Tiffani Thiessen always looks like she's having the best time on MTV's 'Deliciousness.' While she doesn't need assistance in that department, she does have one request of 'Ridiculousness' host Rob Dyrdek!
Deliciousness kicked off in December 2020 and continued with season 2 in March, and we can prepare for another season in the coming months! Tiffani Thiessen , host of the show, spoke to HollywoodLife about the gig and her one request for Ridiculousness host, Rob Dyrdek ! “What I really need from Rob is to learn how to skateboard, or to teach my kids to skateboard!” the mom of two laughed. “My kids are wanting to wanting to skateboard these days, so that’s what I know that I need to learn from him more than anything.”
Tiffani added, “Truly, Rob has done an amazing job with this franchise. He’s got this show that’s been going on for I don’t know how many episodes and seasons now, and I think they felt very comfortable with me having the food experience, but also being an actor, and it was a comfortable role for me to take on.” She gushed that the “hardest thing” about being on Deliciousness is “being in heels all day.” “I literally get to watch funny videos with people and laugh literally all day. I mean, it truly is one of the most fun jobs I’ve ever had. And so I’m excited for more episodes,” she said.

Tiffani also admitted that it was her husband, Brady Smith , who helped her make the decision to take the job. “He’s a huge fan of Ridiculousness and would watch it a ton, and I have to say, I wasn’t one that would sit and watch it with him religiously, but I knew the show,” she explained. “When I was thinking about Deliciousness , he was like, ‘Babe, the show was so fun, you have to do the show.'” The rest was yummy history!
The Saved By The Bell star spoke to HL in partnership with The Bouqs Co. surrounding their incredible Mother’s Day campaign! As we are aware, this past year has been particularly hard on moms, as women have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. Mothers in droves have had quit the ir jobs, take on the additional child care duties, and become remote teachers. In response, The Bouqs Co . is celebrating Mom, Unfiltered. The campaign is encouraging women to be kind to the mselves by embracing the messier side of being a mom, and honoring the multitude of relationships to motherhood that exist.

“As a mom, we put our own pressure on ourselves to be perfect all the time. And with this last year that we have had, I think it’s important to really acknowledge the messier side, which we’ve had a messy year, and the un-perfect side, the real side, of yourself and yourself as a parent,” Tiffani said. “I love to cook and I generally was one that would cook probably five to six times a week, but I’ll tell you when we were home in quarantine, and I was cooking three meals a day and five snacks a day, I allowed myself to be like, ‘You know, what we’re going to order out a lot more often than we normally do.”

Through Mom, Unfiltered, Tiffani and The Bouqs Co. will work to encourage people to share their unfiltered motherhood moments and for every participant using #MomUnfiltered. The Bouqs Co. will donate $5 for every participant (up to $50,000) to Every Mother Counts , a charity chosen by Tiffani.
